Train it

Drills

  • 01

    Circle-edge feed

    Receive on the edge, hold the pivot, deliver a high ball into the circle. 30 reps each side.

    ~15 min

  • 02

    Dodge and lead

    Chair drill: dodge left, sprint right, receive on the move. Switch directions every rep.

    ~15 min

  • 03

    Centre-pass set play

    Run a set move with C and shooters off every centre pass for 10 minutes straight.

Fitness tips

  • Acceleration

    Falling starts + 10m sprints, 8 reps. Your first 3 steps create the lead.

  • Agility ladder

    Icky shuffle, in-in-out-out, lateral runs — 5 minutes daily.

  • Aerobic base

    20-minute steady runs twice a week. WAs work the full 60 minutes.
